TRENTON ACCOUNTING TEAM

2005 STATE CHAMPIONS!

The Trenton Accounting Team competed at the State UIL competition on Saturday, May 7, 2005.  25 students took the test in Conference 1A.

The Results:

Latisha Flowers - 1st Place

Kerry Karaffa - 2nd Place

Kayla Kidwell - 4th Place

Kristen Karaffa- 5th Place

Trenton - 1st Place Team
 

 

Other interesting facts:

*Out of 123 students in Conferences 1A -5A
Tisha is tied for 1st in rank statewide
Kerry is 2nd in rank statewide
Kayla is 17th in rank statewide
Kristen is 18th in rank statewide

*Out of 25 teams in Conferences 1A - 5A
Trenton is tied for 2nd in rank statewide
(14 points behind the 1st place team from Conference 2A)

*Out of 25 teams in Conferences 1A -5A
Trenton was the only team to have all its members medal individually

*6 students out of 123 students were recognized for their 3rd consecutive state competition -
3 of those were from Trenton - Kerry, Kristen and Tisha

*The Trenton sponsor, Ms. Dortha Rounsaville was 1 of only 2 teachers honored for
perfect attendance at the state meet - 19 years - out of all of the Conferences in 1A - 5A!!
She has taken an individual and/or team to state for the last 19 years!
